✨ Little habits, big lessons ✨
At daycare, everyday routines are also part of learning 🧸📚🧦🧼🗑️
When children put away their books and bottles, wear socks, wash their hands, and throw rubbish into the bin, they are learning:
• Responsibility
• Independence
• Discipline
• Cleanliness & self-care
• Respect for their environment
• Daily routine skills
These simple daily habits help children grow more confident, organised, and independent every day 💛
We learn through play, routine, and gentle guidance — not pressure 🌈

Float and Sink Experiment 🚗💧
Some objects float because they are light or have air inside them.
Some objects sink because they are heavier than the water.
In this activity, the balls floated on top of the water, while the toy car and shells sank to the bottom.
Kids learn to:
* Observe and predict
* Compare heavy and light objects
* Explore basic science through play
Questions to ask:
* “Will it float or sink?”
* “Why do you think it sank?”
* “What else can we test?”

Language Development Through Play 🧠💬
In this activity, we encourage children to talk, think, and remember in a fun way.
We show them pictures, then play a little peekaboo game—hiding part of the image and asking:
👉 “What is this?”
👉 “Do you remember?”
👉 “Where did it go?”
This helps children to:
• Build vocabulary (naming animals, objects, etc.)
• Practice memory skills (recalling what they just saw)
• Develop thinking & guessing skills
• Gain confidence in speaking and answering questions
Learning at this age doesn’t need to be forced—
✨ we learn best through play, curiosity, and interaction ✨

Last Thursday we had a fun Ice Cream Day!
We started with story time, then went outside for ice cream art & craft using cotton balls and tiny foam sprinkles. The children also enjoyed an animal rescue activity (animals in ice cubes 🧊🐾).
Lastly, we treated them with ice cream to cool down in this hot weather 🍨💛
Today’s learning:
✨ Sensory play
✨ Fine motor skills
✨ Creativity & problem solving
✨ Social interaction
Such a sweet and happy day 🥰 Thank you parents! 💖

At LYMZ Daycare, we do introduce ABCs, numbers & shapes ✏️🔢🔺
But at an early age, it’s not about forcing children to understand everything quickly.
What’s more important is building their confidence, curiosity, and love for learning.
Children learn best through play, exploration, and fun activities — not pressure.
That’s why at LYMZ, we believe in learning sambil bermain, letting each child grow and learn at their own pace 🤍🌱

Looks simple… but this activity does so much for little hands and growing minds ✨
Lacing and fastening activities help children build fine motor skills, improve focus, and strengthen hand-eye coordination — all while having fun!
Small steps like this help prepare them for bigger skills like writing, dressing independently, and problem-solving 💛
Learning through play, every single day.
