Kim Musical Centre

Kim Musical Centre Tel : 3334197 / 7181698 / 8635722 KMC’s roots began with a simple home based piano studio in the oil town - Seria in 1967.

The founder - Mrs Kim,(whom had retired in 2006), armed with a Bachelor of Music Degree from the Republic of Korea, had single-handedly started the first Music school in the Belait District in the comfort of her living room. It was under her stringent hand that the children and adults of Brunei were first introduced to the wonderful world of music by Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert and Haydn, many have pursued their music career beyond and become outstanding musician or music educators in their adult life. Since its establishment, the popularity of the Centre and students base has grown steadily over the years. The centre has undergone many changes to continuously improve it services, including recruitment of talented and dedicated music teachers and the introduction of more variety of music courses to cater for the demand of modern musical instruction while striving to sustain the high standard of our classical music teaching. Today, into our 40 over years years of operation, Kim Musical Centre has over 350 students under the care of 8 qualified music instructors offering classical and contemporary musical courses for Piano, Violin, Vocal, Guitar(Classical, Acoustic, bass & rock), Drum, keyboard, Recorder, Band ensemble, Music Theories and Music Kindergarten to children as young as 4 years old to retirees into their 70s. Our Centre as well as all our teachers are registered with and approved by the Ministry of Education. The Centre operates in the quiet and safe residential area in Kuala Belait and Seria.
