Reach Out Program for EducatorS resumes with Sekolah Sukan on the topic: “Fostering A Happy Workplace: Seeking Inner Peace In School”.

This program aims to introduce Unit Kesejahteraan Pemimpin Sekolah & Tenaga Pengajar (UKPSTP) services to teachers, and empower and increase mental health awareness amongst teachers in the workplace.

In this 2-part workshop, teachers are able to have insight on the impact of positive and negative work environment on teacher’s wellbeing. Teachers also get to learn some strategies that help equip themselves to overcome toxicity in a workplace.

Reach Out Program for EducatorS resumes with Maktab Sains Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan on the topic: “Mental Health Crisis: Helping Yourself Before It’s Too Late”.

This program aims to introduce Unit Kesejahteraan Pemimpin Sekolah & Tenaga Pengajar (UKPSTP) services to teachers, and empower and increase mental health awareness amongst teachers in the workplace.

In this 2-part workshop, teachers learned to identify and evaluate signs and symptoms of common mental health issues such as anxiety, stress, depression and burnout, that anyone may face at any particular time in their life. Teachers also learned techniques that help equip themselves when facing individuals and situations with presenting symptoms.

Reach Out Program for EducatorS resumes with Sekolah Rendah Bakiau & Sekolah Rendah Kiudang on the topic: “Your Mental Health Matters: Building a personalised self care plan”.

This program aims to introduce Unit Kesejahteraan Pemimpin Sekolah & Tenaga Pengajar (UKPSTP) services to teachers, and empower and increase mental health awareness amongst teachers in the workplace.

In this 2-part workshop, teachers are able to understand the science of stress and happiness and identify self care skills. Teachers also get to evaluate their own self care strategies, and adjust them to be more practical in their everyday lives.

Kursus Pensijilan Pertolongan Pertama (Psychological First Aid) anjuran Unit Kesejahteraan Pemimpin Sekolah dan Tenaga Pengajar, Bahagian Kaunseling (UKPSTP, BK) bagi Kumpulan 3 telah berlangsung di Pusat Tingkatan Enam Tutong. Para peserta terdiri daripada 7 tenaga pengajar sekolah rendah, menengah dan pusat tingkatan enam.

Kursus ini bertujuan bagi membantu dan mempersiapkan para perserta sebagai seorang Psychological First Aid Provider (PFAP) di sekolah-sekolah dalam mengenal pasti tanda-tanda awal krisis kesejahteraan mental dan seterusnya memberi pertolongan percemasan (immediate response) dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikologi.
