Its absolutely amazing that actually founder of CHAN is the Enlightened Saint Bodhidharma who went from Ancient India to Shaolin temple , China in 520 AD. He is said to be the Modern father of systematic Art of Self defense also. CHAN is known in Japan as ZEN, Chan means direct awakening to interconnectedness and impermanence.
