Our learners practiced reading tricky words during their Jolly Phonics lesson. These special words often do not follow the usual phonics patterns, so children need extra practice to recognize them quickly. As they become familiar with tricky words, reading becomes easier, smoother, and more enjoyable. Cupcake Counting with Tongs✨

Children use tongs to pick up and transfer small objects into a paper cupcake liner. They count each object as they place it inside, matching the correct quantity to a given number.

Addition with Numbers and Counters ➕🔢

Learners practiced simple addition using counters, strengthening counting skills, number sense, and one-to-one correspondence. This hands-on activity helped them understand how numbers combine to make a total while making learning fun and engaging. ✨📚

🌼🔢 Blooming with Numbers!

Our young learner practiced counting and quantifying numbers 1–10 by placing the correct number of flowers into each flower pot. This hands-on activity develops number recognition, one-to-one correspondence, and early math confidence in a fun and meaningful way. 🌸✨

🚀 Rocket Number Sequencing! ✨

Through this fun hands-on activity, our learner practiced number recognition, sequencing, concentration, fine motor skills, and problem-solving while building a rocket with magnetic tiles.

Every shape tells a story. As children match and explore geometric forms, they strengthen visual perception, coordination, and concentration.

Hands-on subtraction in action. Children use Numicon and pegs to explore ‘taking away’, building strong foundations in early mathematical thinking.

From symbol to quantity. Using the Ten Boards and golden beads, children explore numbers, developing a deeper understanding of quantity and place value through hands-on learning.

Our learners engaged in a range of phonics activities focusing on the /e/ sound, progressing from blending sounds to strengthening their letter-sound recognition. Through guided practice and interactive tasks, they learned to hear, identify, and combine the /e/ sound with other sounds to form simple words. These meaningful experiences helped build strong early reading skills, while also encouraging focus, participation, and a growing confidence in reading.
