َللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِمَشَايِخِنَا وَلِمَنْ عَلَّمَنَا وَارْحَمْهُمْ، وَأَكْرِمْهُمْ بِرِضْوَانِكَ الْعَظِيْمِ، فِي مَقْعَد الصِّدْقِ عِنْدَكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ

Allahummaghfir li masyayikhina wa liman ‘allamana warhamhum wa akrimhum bi ridlwanikal ‘adzim fi maq’adis shidqi ‘indaka ya arhamar rohimin

Artinya: “Ya Allah, ampunilah guru-guru kami dan orang yang telah mengajar kami. Sayangilah mereka, muliakanlah mereka dengan keridhaan-Mu yang agung, di tempat yang disenangi di sisi-Mu, wahai Yang Maha Penyayang di antara penyayang.”

SR Dato Othman has been specially invited by the NGO i.e. ReLA (Reading and Literacy Association) to attend another special event, which is a book donation and book reading session hosted by His Excellency Luke Arnold. Also attended the president of ReLA, Dr. Malai Zeiti Skeikh Abdul Hamid. Our school and students are delighted and thoroughly enjoyed this event.

It marks another significant milestone for our school and adds another stakeholder to provide our students with greater exposure to reading and literacy.

Saturday, 18 March 2023 - SRDO celebrated the world book day where students, teachers and all the staff members dressed up in varieties of book characters.

The school held a lot of activities throughout the week from online quiz to reading and spelling competitions for different levels. The school held on stage presentations to end the week, from fairytale dances, legendary movies to theatrical performance adapted from the famous storybook, The Little Red Riding Hood.

The guest of honour, Dr. Malai Zeiti, the president of Reading & Literacy Association (ReLA), Professor at UTB and honourary special guest, Her Excellency, Madam Nahida Rahman Shumona, the High Commisioner of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, along with officers from MOE Cluster 3 and representatives from various vendors were present.

Awards of recognition were handed by our guests of honour to students from various activities organised by the school. The events were intended to create special awareness and love for reading books among students to assist them in their learning development.

Syukur Alhamdullilah, syabas dan terima kasih kepada seluruh tenaga pengajar atas kesungguhan dan komitmen yang tinggi dalam mengatur dan menjalankan strategi pengajaran yang efektif bagi memastikan pencapaian pelajar mencapai sasaran.

Berhadapan dengan perubahan SAM, memerlukan kesabaran dan ketabahan, banyak mengorbankan masa, tenaga dan wang ringgit.
Tahniah!!! kerana berjaya melangkaui tahap ini dengan tenang. Abiscikgu telah melakukan yang terbaik.

TAHNIAH atas PENINGKATAN PENCAPAIAN PSR SR DATO OTHMAN TAHUN 2021 🥳

Kepada semua pelajar TAHNIAH! di atas usaha dan kerja keras murid-murid yang akhirnya berbayar dengan kejayaan.

Perjalanan masih panjang. Ini baru pelayaran pertama. Teruskan usaha untuk mengemudi perjalanan dengan penuh semangat dan ketabahan.

Tahniah juga buat semua ibu bapa dan penjaga diatas kejayaan anak abiskita. Doa dan galakan dari abiskita adalah pemangkin kepada kejayaan anak-anak.

Kepada yang kurang berjaya, jangan patah semangat.
Jadikan kegagalan hari ini sebagai pencetus untuk kejayaan pada hari esok.

A new year....a new beginning....hoping for the best of 2021. May all the hardships be lifted and be replaced with lots of love and happiness for all. Thank you everyone for the continuous support to SRDO. May 2021 be a better year for us, our kids and students.

2020 has taught us a lot of things with new norms around the world, in working environments, public places, schools and others....affecting daily routines at some point, but we learn to embrace it and try to cope with it all in order to get through it all the best way that we possibly can.

So with that, we enter 2021 a little bit wiser, stronger and hopefully well prepared so that we can face any challenges up ahead.
