Student Body (a.k.a Student Council) : a curricular or extracurricular activity within Universiti Brunei Darussalam. Being a representative structure for students
Badan Pergerakan Mahasiswa/Mahasiswi Faculty of Arts Social Science also known as Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Student Body was established since 2003, in University Brunei Darussalam. Run by the students for the students, as the representative structure for the students of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, we aim to help share the students’ ideas, interests, and concerns with the teaching academic and administrative staff. As members of BPM FASS, we are given the opportunity to let their voices be heard against that of the educational facility as we are given special benefits in helping to run the faculty to some extent, as the welfare of the students is of our main concern. From this semester onwards, one of our goals is to raise funds for organising school-wide activities, including social events, community projects and others. Another is allowing our members to learn skills that will be an extension of their formal education which will be valuable to them after they graduate.
