On Friday, 4th September 2026, UBD Dentistry, in collaboration with Ministry of Health, had the opportunity to organise the first Dentistry Research Day, which showcased 10 student-led researches, presented by our third-year Dental Students 🦷
Dr Hajah Mawarti (Director of Dental Services), Dr Norazah (Chief Clinical of Specialist Services), Dr Siti Waznah, and Dr Jacqueline Maryam (Deputy Chiefs Clinical of Specialist Services) attended this memorable event along with Professor Dr Kenneth (Dean of PAPRSB IHS), Dr Faye and Dr Nurol (Deputy Deans of PAPRSB IHS). Dental officers as well as dental nurses and technicians were also in attendance.
The event allowed the current third-year dental students to present their SSM II research, conducted in their second year, to a panel of judges. We would like to congratulate the winners and all the presenters for giving their best in presenting their research.
We would also like to say Thank You to everyone who had attended and making our first Dentistry Research Day a success! We wish to host more research days in the future! 🦷
