Habit 4 encourages individuals to seek mutual benefit in all interactions, striving for solutions that are mutually satisfying and beneficial to all parties involved. By embodying this principle, we are empowering our students to become effective communicators, problem solvers, and collaborators. ❤️💙💛

We invite you to join us in supporting the development of Habit 4 both at home and in the broader Hamilton Parish community. Here are a few ways you can reinforce the importance of thinking win-win with your child:



🔸️Engage in open and honest communication with your child, emphasizing the importance of considering others' perspectives and finding solutions that benefit everyone involved.

🔸️Encourage your child to collaborate and work together with siblings, friends, and classmates on projects and activities, fostering a spirit of cooperation and teamwork.

🔸️Model positive conflict resolution strategies at home, demonstrating how to resolve disagreements in a respectful and constructive manner.

🔸️Celebrate and recognize acts of kindness, empathy, and cooperation displayed by your child, reinforcing the value of thinking win-win in their relationships.

During the month of February, the staff, students, parents and community members of excellence here at Francis Patton School will focus on building healthy and positive relationships. ❤️

Each time a student makes a “deposit” they will drop a bean into the Relationship Jar in their classroom. If they make a “withdrawal” they must remove a bean from the Relationship Jar. ❤️

Our school goal is make a total of 700 “deposits” into The Relationship Bank Account by February 29, 2024. This challenge was shared with students during our whole school Relationship Bank Account Assembly hosted by the Student Lighthouse Team on Friday Feb 2, 2024. ❤️

For the entire month of February, students, staff, families and community members will focus making “deposits” by doing the following 👇🏼

❤️ Being a good friend
❤️ Keeping promises
❤️ Sharing
❤️ Synergizing
❤️ Making apologies if we did something wrong
