These two have been invited to train with the boys basketball team… Belle said to me “I actually like being the worst”… I guess it draws a parallel with “if you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room”. Can’t tell you how amazing her coaches have been 🙏. Makes me want to achieve more and more with our Youth Fitness at work! (Remember we have football and dance camps .bm this summer! Link in bio). Well it’s eve! Remember how I was posting about my training… and then went suspiciously quiet?! As the run times increased, this time I just never felt like I was getting stronger. I was exhausted and in pain all the time. I was gaining weight (right when I’m trying to keep it steady for wedding dress fittings 😱😂)… so, I stopped. I went back to a steady plan of TRX and Shapes (a blend of Pilates, Barre and Sculpt) at .bm . Ive been doing lots of dog walks and three shorter runs. My muscle mass is up, my weight is normal, I feel stronger than ever and I’m enjoying my runs again 🥳. I struggled with the “quitting”… I love a goal and I was really sad to walk away from this one. But last night, as I was running with Belle, trying to keep up with her (because she is way faster than me now 💪) I realised I was exactly where I wanted and needed to be. So maybe sometimes quitting, is actually more like winning? 🤔😂💕🌸 HOWEVER to all the heroes who are running tomorrow… I’m a little/very jealous!! Good luck and congrats!!! And special good luck to our two Beat the couch relay teams who are going to absolutely smash it 💪. We can’t wait to see your victory pics! XX

Another one in the books!! The most feel-good part of my job ever!!
Huge congrats to everyone who took on the challenge of Beat the Couch, Season 26. One of our favourite Seasons yet! So proud of you all.
Beat the Couch, Season 26! Race day was the icing on the cake to a season that blew us away. The determination, grit and camaraderie has been next level. Huge thanks first and foremost to our incredible trainers: Graham Frith, Christina Dotson, Sergio White, Betty Doyling and Alex Waldauer - truly the best of the best, going above and beyond every time. Special mention to Christina who organised the wider Waterfront Wellness race day event as seemlessly as ever (pics from that soon!) Big thanks also to Dr Che and Dr Nate from Spine & Sport Bermuda for keeping on top of injuries and passing on their wisdom for preventive care. Thanks too to Bermuda TIming for doing a stellar job as ever and keeping up with our last minute requests! Thanks to our Waterfront support crew: Ayana Smith, Jenna Engelbrecht, Tim Mahony (couch courier!), Jess Hollis (marketing/photos)... and many more. Thanks to the big bosses (Hi Will!) for helping us keep this program reachable for the whole community through price management and assisted funding. We watched our funding participants squeeze every ounce of opportunity from BTC this season and it makes us so proud and happy to see what each of them has achieved. Finally, thanks to the crew - the beginner runners who put their faith in us and believed the program would work even when it felt like it wouldn't. Look what you just did!! The picture says it all. New smoothie line up at
We did a little soft launch a few weeks ago but sunny days are here so now you all need to know! These are designed with better blood sugar balance in mind, so they are less sweet than your standard smoothie. No syrups, just frozen fruit, fresh leaves and stellar add-ins (I don’t approve protein powders lightly!) As there’s not enough space behind the bar, these are made in the kitchen, frozen into cubes and then the cubes are whizzed up with your mixer on the spot (this is a great strategy for saving time and space at home too!) Full menu in stories but in summary we have:
💚 Nutrifit OG - the first green smoothie that ever hit Bermuda, back in its original form. You won’t taste the parsley but it’s very alkaline and cleansing! And we take it easy on the banana so it’s not too sweet.
