I wish Every parent would read this till the end.
There is a picture and video of 3 kids less than 10 years having a th*****me.
What is a th*****me? For those who don't know: A th*****me is 3 people having s*x at the same time.
I personally refuse to share the picture because of child abuse laws against child po*******hy so I'd ....
Rather describe the picture so you can understand what is happening. A girl is bent over a boy with her mouth over his private part, another boy is behind her with his private part inserted into her. All at once. Yes this happened, and they recorded it themselves.
My question - how did these children get here?
Where are their parents?
It is obvious the children (child one of them) has/have been exposed to po*******hy or/and actual s*x. By the way abusers are usually people children know and are already familiar and comfortable with... Infact usually they are close to the family
*This is a call to every parent to seat up*
As a counselor I am speechless at the sheer ignorance and unawareness many parents display. To say I am upset doesn't describe how I feel. I have heard countless stories of broken children. Children who their parents have failed.
*3 Facts about parenting*
1. Parenting isn't a fanfare
2. Parenting requires a lot of deliberate work, not seating on the couch watching telemundo and wishing your child would grow up to be normal
3. Parenting today is a different ball game than it used to be.
*3 facts about your children you may not know or you are denying* children
1. Know more than you think they know
2. They are exposed by virtue of the times they are born in...especially now that they are forced to go online to learn
3. What they want isn't all the money or gifts you're giving them, they want your undivided attention
*3 Steps to take now if you love your child*
1. Spend time with them daily
2. Show them by example how to live right
3. Speak to them about your values and about life, don't shy away from talking about s*x, internet safety.
*3 Things to teach your child about s*x*
(There is age appropriate s*x education for every child, this is just a general statement, you can get detailed age appropriate s*x education for your child)
1. God created s*x for a reason and one of it is for married couples (Daddy and mummy) to bring (children including you) into the world
2. Your body is yours and you have the right to protect it. No one should touch you, or ask you to touch their private parts. Anyone who does this wants to hurt you.
3. Once you feel uncomfortable with anyone please tell me and I would believe you
*3 Things you must teach your children about online safety*
1. Not everything you see online is true, there is a lot of fake information online, because anyone can send information online. That's why it is called world wide web. It may be hard to know what is true and what is not
2. Not every information online is meant for children. Some bad adults go online to share bad pictures of themselves or others, and try to force others to do the same
3. Going to strange sites or sites not permitted by (me) your parents is like walking out on the streets all by yourself (scary), it is dangerous and must be discouraged.
*For those who advocate that children should have phones early*...my question to you...
1. Would you give your child your car keys? At what age would you allow your child drive?
2. Would you allow your child go out by themselves? At what age would you allow your child go out by him/herself?
3. Would you allow your child talk to strangers?
I don't know what you answered, but giving your child an internet enabled phone is like answering yes to all my above questions.
Finally,
some days back I was having a live session with a group of children and I asked them who they admired most? who has had the most influence on their lives?... The highest number mentioned their parents, especially their mums as the most influential person in their lives
I strongly believe this is because the family is the bedrock and foundation of every child. If we fail them at the family level we have failed them at all levels, stop pushing your responsibility to the school.
They want you to guide them, to protect them, to discipline them, to nurture them and show them how to live right. You may make mistakes along the way and that's okay, let them know you're not perfect but you're willing to keep learning and getting better and by all means apologize if you have to. Children are humans too.
From my heart to every parent. Thanks you for all you are doing already. I pray your labor would yield great results.
