We want to express our heartfelt appreciation to all our students and stakeholders for their support and cooperation towards the successful running of the 2022/2023 academic session, including the ongoing summer session. Your contributions have been instrumental in our continuous pursuit of academic excellence.
We are excited to announce a new development that will take effect from the next academic session (2023/2024), which starts in September 2023. As you know, we have several affiliations both within and outside Benin Republic, which permits us to run programmes that are not accredited for the institution, especially in the field of engineering.
In addition to these affiliations, we have secured new affiliations that permit us to run medical-related programs. We are introducing Medical Laboratory Science, Pharmacy, Public Health, and Nursing programs, and we will thoroughly equip our medical students with the right knowledge while seriously scrutinizing them before graduation.
We will only be admitting students into their first year, and anyone with prior education in any of these health courses will be admitted into 200L. This is a significant milestone for ESGT University, and we are committed to providing quality education to our students in these new programs.

Greetings Graduates, Students, and Potential Stakeholders,

I am pleased to inform you of a significant update concerning the relationship between the school, its agents, and students. Effective immediately, the school has adopted the use of its portal for all interactions between agents and students, particularly with regard to commission withdrawals. We kindly request that all agents and students make use of the school portal for these purposes to ensure proper accountability.

In addition, we have made improvements to the portal, which now permits agents to transfer funds to students, lecturers, or other agents. We are also creating a guide to assist agents in navigating the portal more efficiently.

Agents are now an essential component of the school system and will act as academic officers for their candidates. As such, we will add agents to a WhatsApp group with other school administrators to exchange ideas and updates. This will make it easier to disseminate information to all students in a seamless way, providing them with accurate information about the school and aiding their interaction with potential candidates.

We now recognize the value of becoming an agent of the school before referring a student. We appreciate your cooperation and adherence to these new guidelines, which are aimed at improving the overall experience for all stakeholders in the school.

Thank you for your attention.

Sincerely,

The School Administration

Easter Monday is the day after Easter Sunday and is considered a public holiday in many countries around the world. Its origins can be traced back to ancient times and the celebration of spring.

In many cultures, Easter Monday was traditionally a day for feasting and revelry. In some regions, people would continue to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus by attending church services, singing hymns, and taking part in other religious activities. However, in other parts of the world, the day was more focused on secular traditions, such as egg rolling, egg hunting, and games.

One popular theory about the origins of Easter Monday comes from ancient Europe. It was believed that the Monday after Easter Sunday was a day to celebrate the arrival of spring and the rebirth of the natural world. In some cultures, people would hold fertility rites and perform symbolic rituals to encourage the growth of crops and the health of their livestock.

In many countries, including the United States, Easter Monday is not widely celebrated as a public holiday. However, it is still observed in many other parts of the world, particularly in Europe, where it is considered a day for family gatherings, picnics, and outdoor activities.

Overall, Easter Monday has a long and rich history that dates back to ancient times. While its traditions and meanings may vary from region to region, the holiday remains an important part of the cultural heritage of many countries around the world.

HAPPY EASTER MONDAY TO YOU ALL

WHY RAMADAN?

Ramadan is a holy month of fasting, prayer, and reflection observed by Muslims around the world. It is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is considered the most sacred month in Islam. During this time, Muslims abstain from food, drink, and other physical needs during the daylight hours.

The observance of Ramadan is based on a religious obligation mentioned in the Quran. The Quran states that the month of Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was revealed as guidance for humanity. The observance of Ramadan is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, which are the basic practices and beliefs of Islam.

The history of Ramadan goes back to the early years of Islam. According to Islamic tradition, the month of Ramadan was first observed in the second year of the Islamic calendar, 624 CE. This was the year that the Prophet Muhammad and his followers migrated from Mecca to Medina, which is known as the Hijra.

The first Muslims faced many hardships in Medina, and the community was struggling to survive. It was during this time that the revelation of the Quran began, and the month of Ramadan was designated as a time for fasting and spiritual reflection.

The practice of fasting during Ramadan has several purposes. First and foremost, it is a way to purify oneself and draw closer to God. By abstaining from food, drink, and other physical needs, Muslims are able to focus on their spiritual needs and reflect on their relationship with God.

Fasting during Ramadan is also a way to show solidarity with those who are less fortunate. By experiencing hunger and thirst, Muslims are reminded of the suffering of those who do not have access to basic needs such as food and water.

Ramadan is also a time for community and family. Muslims gather for iftar, the meal that breaks the fast at sunset. It is a time for sharing food and fellowship, and for strengthening bonds with family and friends.

The end of Ramadan is marked by Eid al-Fitr, a three-day celebration that includes prayer, feasting, and gift-giving. It is a time for joy and celebration, and for giving thanks for the blessings of the month of Ramadan.

In conclusion, Ramadan is a sacred month of fasting, prayer, and reflection observed by Muslims around the world. Its history goes back to the early years of Islam and is based on a religious obligation mentioned in the Quran. Fasting during Ramadan is a way to purify oneself, show solidarity with those who are less fortunate, and strengthen one's relationship with God. Ramadan is also a time for community and family, and the end of the month is marked by the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.

WHAT'S PALM SUNDAY?

Palm Sunday is a Christian holiday that is celebrated on the Sunday before Easter. It commemorates Jesus Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem, which is described in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

According to the Bible, Jesus and his disciples were traveling to Jerusalem to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Passover. As they approached the city, Jesus sent two of his disciples to fetch a donkey, which he rode into Jerusalem. The people of Jerusalem welcomed Jesus by waving palm branches and laying them on the ground in front of him. They also shouted, "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!" (Matthew 21:9)

This event is significant because it fulfilled an ancient prophecy about the Messiah in the book of Zechariah: "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a c**t, the foal of a donkey." (Zechariah 9:9)

Palm Sunday is the beginning of Holy Week, which is the week leading up to Easter. It is called Palm Sunday because of the palm branches that were used to welcome Jesus into Jerusalem. In many Christian churches, the service on Palm Sunday includes a procession of the faithful carrying palm branches and singing hymns.

In some countries, it is also customary to make palm crosses out of the palm branches. The crosses are often given to members of the congregation as a reminder of Jesus' sacrifice and the events of Holy Week.

Palm Sunday has been celebrated by Christians for centuries. The earliest recorded celebration of Palm Sunday dates back to the 4th century in Jerusalem. The celebration gradually spread throughout the Christian world, and it is now observed by Christians of many different denominations.

In addition to its religious significance, Palm Sunday has also been a cultural and political symbol. In medieval Europe, kings and rulers would often process through their cities on Palm Sunday, carrying palm branches and wearing crowns. This symbolized their authority and power.

In some countries, Palm Sunday is also known as "Willow Sunday" or "Branch Sunday." In these places, willow branches or other tree branches are used instead of palm branches. This is because palm trees do not grow in these regions, and so they use whatever branches are available.

In conclusion, Palm Sunday is a Christian holiday that celebrates Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, and it marks the beginning of Holy Week. It has been celebrated by Christians for centuries and is an important part of the Christian calendar.
