ESPAM-FORMATION UNIVERSITY, REPUBLIC OF BENIN MOURNS OBA LAMIDI ADEYEMI III; SENDS CONDOLENCES TO THE PEOPLE OF OYO.

We the management of ESPAM-FORMATION UNIVERSITY, COTONOU is deeply sad to learn about the demise of Oyo great monarch and our Grand Patron, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi Atanda III, who passed on yesterday 22nd of April, 2022. Oba Adeyemi became the Grand Patron of our institution few years ago and is posseses a Doctorate from our institution.

Oba Adeyemi as an educated monarch himself made sure his subjects were beneficiaries of the numerous educational benefits of our institution. He was a lover of an egalitarian society, a great teacher and mentor to many of our staff and students. Our relationship with the Oba revealed his simplicity, generosity, and cheerfulness.

Oba Adeyemi was an artistic dancer which he displayed at many of our official events bringing smiles to faces of academias around the world. Despite his cheerfulness, Baba was disciplined, determined, and dedicated to the development of education in Oyo and Nigeria at large.

We send our deepest condolences to his immediate family and people of Oyo town in this trying time. We pray that the ancestors shall be with his family and his people in the endeavours to come after his demise.
