On May 8, 2026, the Indian International School Benin held its annual Creative Writing Competition, aiming to promote literary talent and active expression among students. The competition offered a platform for students to showcase their creativity in Paragraph writing # Short essay writing, Descriptive Essay writing and Expository Essay writing. All Participants demonstrated exceptional narrative and vocabulary skills. The panel of judges, consisting of English teachers evaluated the writings based on Creativity , Originality, Vocabulary and Language Mechanics. The name of all the winners were announced and the certificates were also distributed by the end of the day.

2026/2027 Creative Writing Competition

Our Creative Writing Competition for the 2026/2027 academic session will hold on Friday, 8th May. This special event is an opportunity for our students to express their creativity, imagination, confidence, and unique writing talents.

We are excited to see the amazing ideas, inspiring stories, and brilliant thoughts our young writers will bring to life through their words. Competitions like this help to build communication skills, critical thinking, originality, and a lifelong love for learning and literature.
