_We, the staff, pupils and students of *ADVENT INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS* jointly thank Almighty God for granting us a successful end of the session 2023/2024. We also thank our parents/guardians for their unflinching support and cooperation which assisted us immensely during the various activities that characterized this session._
*_UPDATE OF ACTIVITIES DURING THE TERM._*
✅ *ACADEMICS:-*
_Since the start of the term, we have been focusing much of our attention on supporting students to make as much progress as they can. These efforts have yielded tremendous outcomes as a range of evidence indicates that results will continue to rise. Rigorous checks were put in place to sustain quality teaching as we helped the children in the revision and preparation for their examinations._
✅ *CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION*-:
_Children’s Day Celebration: this year children day was celebrated in the school on Monday 27th May, 2024 with various activities like aerobics, dance, games, class presentation and little get together party. This year children day was sponsored by few parents and teachers_
And we are grateful for your immense support
✅ *HEALTH EDUCATION:-*
_Healthy living is a catalyst to academic success. Realizing this, the school always had special talks on hygiene with keen focus on those areas peculiar to boys and girls respectively. This was surely a rewarding engagement._
✅ *MID TERM EXAMINATION:-*
_Our mid term examination commenced on 3rd June, 2024 and ended on FRIDAY, 7th of June 2024._
_Our Mid-term break came up on MONDAY 10th – FRIDAY 15TH June, 2024._
✅ *PUNCTUALITY:-*
_We once again solicit your support in the area of punctuality as lateness affects the learning process. This has been severally communicated to you. As such, excuses for lateness to school will no longer be condoned. Arrival time to school is 7.30am. Late comers will be made to serve the appropriate punishments set by the school._
✅ *SUMMER COACHING*-:
_The summer coaching commences Monday, *5TH AUGUST, , 2024 AND END ON THE 30TH OF AUGUST 2024. MONDAYS TO THURSDAYS RESPECTFULLY. 9AM TO 1PM*. THERE WILL BE NO LESSONS ON FRIDAYS.
The summer coaching will feature academic subjects especially, mathematics, English, and French – curricular activities and indoor games such as: dance, Pencil Art, tailoring, table tennis and many more._
✅ *ADMISSION:-*
_The *2024/2025 admission* process is still in progress. The next batches of the supplementary examinations will come up as follows:- Friday 30th August 2024. Time 9am. Admission Forms are available in the schools’ offices. Remember, this golden opportunity is open to everyone around you._
✅ *SCHOOL FEES:-*
_We thank all our parents for their prompt payment of school fees this term. May God continue to empower you and enrich your source of income. *Next session;* school fees bill is out, kindly go to the school to make payments.Please note, all school fees payment should be made before next term resumption._
✅ *HOLIDAY/RESUMPTION*-:
_We wish to officially announce the end of 2023/2024 academic year. School resumes on Monday 9TH September, 2024.*_
