About B.A. French

Bachelor of Arts in French or B.A French is a three-year undergraduate degree programme where the students are taught about the various aspects of the French language. French is considered as the fifth most spoken language in the world and the world’s second most taught language after English. As a course B.A. French allows the students to learn about the language and the Francophonic culture. Students are trained in reading, writing, grammar, and in fluency in the language. During the B.A. French courses, students develop fluency, proficiency, writing skills, communication skills, listening skills etc. They gain proficiency in translating a source language into French Students after their 12th become eligible for the course. The motivation behind pursuing a bachelor’s degree in French is its potential and effectiveness in today’s economic world.

B.A. French syllabus is categorized into 6 semesters. The course curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the language. Learning of B.A. in French helps to secure jobs in different employment sectors like tours and travel, BPO, KPO, business management, hospitality service, education, export firms etc. Students studying B.A. French get help from the French faculty who guides to identify the challenges and helps to meet the requirements. The course prepares the learners to explore different careers like interpreter, translator, French Language expert, etc. In India, Nigeria, Ghana, UK, Kenya etc.., a French graduate is employed in Language Departments of colleges and universities, Embassies etc.
