Today's service was a special one. Wow!
It was led by the staff - leading in praise and worship, sharing the word and ushering...etc
It was a powerful meeting in which the students made a commitment to God for new beginnings.
Topic: Destined for greatness.
Each student is destined for greatness and that can only be achieved if Jesus is the center of their lives.
Every child of God is a child of destiny!!
- Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
- Jeremiah 1:5 - "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
- Psalm 139:13-14 - "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
- Isaiah 43:1 - "But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: ‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine"
The greatest gift a teacher can give is to show a student their own potential...
