Partnership with a Korean university

LU-Burundi recently established an MOU with SolBridge International School of Business, a private AACSB accredited business school in South Korea.

It offers both an undergraduate major in business (BBA) and an MBA degree. All courses are taught in English following an American curriculum model.

The scope of academic cooperation between ILU and SolBridge includes the exchange of faculty and staff, dual degree programs, and joint research activities.

Public Defense

There are 3 major milestones that 3rd year students at ILU-Burundi need to reach before completing their undergraduate studies:

1. Complete their coursework

2. Undertake an internship period of 2 months

3. Successfully write and defend a research dissertation
During the past 3 weeks to date, students have been presenting their research project during public defenses and others are expected to defend in the coming weeks.

ILU-Burundi warmly congratulates students on successfully defending their dissertation!

The institution extends its encouragement to other student standing at different levels in the process.

On Wednesday, October 25, 2017, ILU-Burundi was delighted to receive a new donation of Books from Burundi Friends International.
The partnership between the Christian NGO located in USA and the Christian university located in Burundi started back in 2016 with a first book donation. Further collaboration between the organization and higher education in Burundi was discussed in July 2017 as representatives of Burundi Friend Internationals visited ILU-Burundi.

ILU-Burundi Workshop

Representatives of Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC), the university governing council, students, staff and faculty gathered together from August 28th till September 1st for a workshop to rediscover ILU--Burundi DNA.
The focus of the week was on the university's mission to develop Christ centered leaders for transformational impact in the society.
The workshop was led by Dr. Henry Tan and Dr. Ronald Watters; both members of the International Leadership Consortium (ILC).
