Math Week 2025: Where Fun Meets Genius!

We just saw an exhilarating week of mathematical exploration and intellectual triumphs for our Grade 6 to Grade 9 students!
They dived into the world of math with heart-pounding challenges and mind-bending games!

The Pi-Puzzle Challenge brought together our future mathematicians as they worked to join the 30 digits of Pi, while striving to memorize as many digits as possible!

The students sharpened their minds with engaging logical and critical thinking games, designed to enhance spatial and geometrical skills.

And the highlight of the week— the Math Marathon 2025, crowned the top three Math Wizards from Grades 7 to 9! These incredible young minds triumphed after an intense two-round competition, proving their passion and brilliance in the subject. The Math department along with our Grade 11 IB Students continue to fuel our love for math and keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible!

ARKIS Ghabga Night was a vibrant and memorable event that brought together students, parents, teachers, and staff in a joyful celebration of Ramadan. The evening featured games, a lively bazaar, and a variety of delicious food, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. This special occasion highlighted the spirit of togetherness and cultural appreciation, making it a truly meaningful experience for the entire school community.

ARKIS Preschool & Elementary School proudly celebrated Gergaoon in a truly traditional manner. Our students embraced the rich heritage of this special occasion by dressing in traditional attire, singing cultural songs, and performing the iconic Liwa dance. Through these festivities, we continue to instill a deep appreciation for our traditions in our young learners.

Math Olympians in Action!
On the 6th of March, our brilliant grade 4 math Olympinas tackled challenging problems with determination and teamwork at the Math Olympics – a true celebration of intellect and passion for mathematics!

From impressive speed rounds to solving challenging problems with precision, our grade 1-5 students showed incredible math skills and teamwork during our multiplication competition. It was inspiring to see their determination and passion for learning in action! Keep up the amazing work, mathletes!

Congratulations to our ARKIS FLAMES TEAM on their outstanding achievement in the Boxing Championship at Bahrain Sports Day. A special shout-out to Anas Zallaqi for winning 1st place!

Abdulrahman Kanoo International School (ARKIS) is proud to continue its annual Ramadan Basket Campaign in collaboration with the Isa Town Charity Association. This initiative, now a longstanding tradition, invites our school community to come together in the spirit of giving, providing much-needed support to families across the Kingdom during the blessed month of Ramadan.

This year, through the collective effort of our students, parents, and staff, 37 Ramadan baskets were prepared, each filled with essential food items to sustain families during Iftar and Suhoor. The baskets were then delivered to the Isa Town Charity Association, which will distribute them to those in need, ensuring that every family can share in the blessings of Ramadan.

The Ramadan Basket Campaign is more than just a charitable act—it is an opportunity to instill values of generosity, compassion, and social responsibility in our students. By participating in this project, our students not only help provide for those in need but also learn the importance of community engagement and the positive impact of collective action. This initiative reinforces ARKIS’s commitment to fostering a sense of unity and cohesion in Bahraini society, especially during this time of reflection and compassion.

A night of delicious food, fantastic friends, and unforgettable memories! Our Grade 4 & 5 BBQ was a highlight of the year.

Snaps from Grade 5 overseas trip to Dubai in February. From visiting the old part of the city to the fun rides and games at Kidzania and Motiongate Theme Park our little adventurers along with their teachers and guides enjoyed it all. The trip’s main goal was nurturing the children’s sense of responsibility and self-confidence. Upon returning to Bahrain, the students were so happy and excited to meet their parents and tell them all about their once-in-a-lifetime experience.
