On July 30, 2026, the Philippine School Bahrain was honored to welcome His Excellency Gines Jaime Ricardo D. Gallaga, Philippine Ambassador, together with Vice Consul Charlie Florian Prenicolas and other Embassy staff, for a meaningful visit with the school administration. Their presence marked a significant gesture of support and partnership at the start of Academic Year 2026–2027.

During the visit, the Embassy graciously donated a collection of Philippine books from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). This valuable addition to our library enriches our resources and strengthens our students’ connection to their heritage. The thoughtful contribution reflects the Embassy’s steadfast commitment to nurturing cultural pride and academic excellence among Filipino learners in Bahrain.

The visit also provided His Excellency with the opportunity to learn more about the school’s current status—its curriculum, programs, and student activities—and to explore avenues for deeper engagement and cooperation between the Embassy and the school. As adviser to the PSB Board of Directors, the Ambassador’s insights and guidance remain invaluable in shaping the school’s direction and strengthening its mission.

As part of the visit, the Ambassador and Vice Consul briefly interacted with students in the library. Their warm exchange inspired our learners and reflected the Embassy’s genuine interest in the growth and well-being of the Filipino youth in Bahrain.

The Philippine School Bahrain expresses its heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, the Vice Consul, and the Embassy team for their visit and for the continued support extended to the school community.
