The Iqra Private School, previously known as (Pakistan Urdu School) was established in 1956 and is managed by its Board of Trustees. The medium of instruction is English for all classes. In March 1956, the first Urdu School for the students of Indo-Pak origin was established in the Gulf. The school owes its existence to Mr. Mohammadi, Mrs. Saleha Raheem, Mr. Haji Asghar Ali, Mr. Abdul Rasool Malik

EWA Awareness Campaign (Primary Section)

Primary Section students participated in the EWA Awareness Campaign, learning the importance of conserving water and electricity in their daily lives.

Through engaging activities and discussions, students discovered effective ways to save valuable resources and contribute towards a sustainable future. The campaign encouraged our young learners to become responsible citizens.

Senior Section shared the joy and spirit of Eid by extending warm Eid greetings to everyone.

The thoughtful gesture reflected the values of respect, gratitude, and togetherness, creating a happy and positive atmosphere throughout the school. The celebration beautifully strengthened the bond between students and teachers.

Middle Section celebrated Eid Al-Fitr with great joy and enthusiasm through meaningful and engaging Eid-related activities.

Students actively participated in the celebrations and beautifully expressed the spirit of Eid through their presentations and activities. Eid gifts were also distributed to the teachers as a gesture of appreciation and happiness, making the occasion even more special.

An Eid-ul-Adha related activity was conducted in the class, where students enthusiastically participated in various craft activities related to the Eid celebration.

The children remained happy, excited, and fully engaged throughout the session. Special giveaways prepared by the teachers were also distributed to the students, adding more joy and excitement to the celebration.

A morning assembly on the topic of Eid-ul-Adha was also conducted, where students shared valuable information about the significance and importance of this blessed occasion.

Middle Section presented Hajj related activities in a meaningful and engaging way.

Students practically demonstrated all the steps of Hajj and learned the duas and manasik of Hajj step by step. Their active participation, confidence, and understanding made the presentation a wonderful and enriching learning experience for everyone.

Primary Section conducted a meaningful morning assembly on the topic of Hajj.

Students confidently delivered speeches in both Arabic and English, explaining the importance of Hajj and the steps performed during the sacred pilgrimage. The beautiful recitation of Hajj prayers and statements created a spiritual and peaceful atmosphere throughout the assembly.

At IQRA Private School, the Term 1 Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) was successfully organized, bringing parents and teachers together to collaboratively discuss students’ academic progress and overall development.

The PTM provided a valuable opportunity for parents to interact with teachers and receive updates regarding their wards’ academic performance, attendance, behavior, assessments, and areas requiring improvement.

At IPS, we strongly believe that effective parent-teacher communication plays a vital role in nurturing responsible, confident, and successful learners.

Fun Screen Time for Our Little Learners

Primary Section LKG and HKG students enjoyed a special Movie Day and watched The Good Dinosaur, learning valuable lessons about friendship, kindness, and bravery.

A fun movie atmosphere was created with tickets, popcorn, giveaways, and memorable picture moments for the children. The students truly enjoyed the experience and had a wonderful time with their friends.
