We recently hosted an "IB evaluation workshop' for IB Programme Coordinators of other IB world schools in Bahrain. The event was a resounding success, having participants from 5 different IB world schools in Bahrain. The workshop covered a wide range of topics related to the practices and requirements of each IB programme which leads to the attainment of IB standards and how to organize and plan for IB evaluation. Feedback from participants was extremely positive and we are happy to see that all IB leaders who participated walked away with a self- devised strategic plan for their own school evaluation process when they returned to school. Mr Fuad Prins, Head of School welcomed the participating school IB leaders and the workshop was handled by Ms Bindu Pradeep, IB Diploma Programme Coordinator and Ms Ranjana Manuel, PYP Coordinator. NIS being the first IB Continuum school and having a long history of IB programme excellence, supporting the professional development of educators in our community allows us to do things in a meaningful way. We are truly grateful to have IB Regional Manager Pascal Ashkar with us in this professional development who gave the participants and us an insight of the best practices for the IB self study process and how to have better practical successful strategies. His expertise and insights were invaluable to the success of the PD.
Thank you to the Ministry of Interior for providing our middle school students with valuable awareness training as part of its comprehensive anti-violence and addiction programme. We are deeply grateful for the Ministry's steadfast commitment to supporting the well-being, personal development, and safety of our student community. This impactful initiative equips our young learners with critical knowledge and life skills to make informed decisions and positively contribute to a peaceful, healthy society.

The festival was a symphonic celebration of Bahrain's musical talents - and our NIS stars certainly left their mark!
