A FRUIT SALAD IS DELICIOUS BECAUSE EACH FRUIT MAINTAINS ITS OWN FLAVOUR
"Ingo the oranges, fruit salad time!
Bananas, apples, fruit salad time!
Ingo the cherries, strawberries, too
Fruit salad time for me and you!
Fresh fruits are naturally sweet and packed with huge nutritional benefits as well. People who eat fruit as part of an overall healthy diet generally have a reduced risk of chronic diseases. To inculcate healthy eating habits, Fruit Salad Day was celebrated. It was joyful and fruitful day for the kids as they enjoyed their participation and learnt a good habit of sharing and caring. Children showcased their artistic expressions on the platter which were replicas of nature .It was a perfect amalgamation of beauty, finesse and taste.

Characters Come Alive

How exciting it is to see your favourite characters in person! Students of Grades 1 and 2 had immense fun by dressing up as the characters from the books they have read or from the cartoons they recently watched . Children also displayed the printed pictures and toys of the character they were enacting and spoke of the strength , skills and magical powers the characters had. Interestingly, they shared their ideas of saving the world with these powers. That's natural when Spider Man, Dora, Ladybugs, Fairies, Elsa, Red Riding Hood, Fireman and Ben 10 make their appearance.

There's so much fun, creativity and obvious love for reading in the activity !

War of Words

“It is better to debate a question without settling it than to settle a question without debating it.” Joseph Joubert
Do we have the freedom to say what we like? Should there be some restrictions on freedom of expressions? Students of grade XI debated on the topic, " Freedom of expression has its limit" in a well conducted debate competition. Most of our youngsters agreed that freedom of expression is key to a democratic process but were against unrestrained freedom.
Students of grade IX and X debated on the topic," Can Alternative energy effectively replace fossil fuels" The depth of awareness on the topic was evident in the competition. Some argued that renewable sources of energy can never replace fossil fuels . On the other hand, the opponents saw green cars and alternate fuels as the future . Both the debates proved the oratorical skills, convincing power and presentation kills of our students.
Congratulations debaters on your mind-blowing performance!
