Little Chefs Stir Up Healthy Habits

"Healthy habits learned in childhood become the foundation for a healthy future".

Kindergartners enjoyed a delightful Fruit Salad Making Activity, exploring colorful fruits and learning about their nutritional benefits. This hands-on experience helped develop essential life skills, including fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, independence, and healthy eating habits. Working together encouraged teamwork, communication, sharing, and cooperation, while following instructions strengthened listening skills, concentration, and self-discipline. The activity also fostered confidence, responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment as children proudly prepared and enjoyed their healthy snack.

Bhavans Bahrain Indian School celebrated World Environment Day 2026 with activities promoting environmental awareness and sustainable living. Students engaged in recycling crafts, bird-feeder making, plantation drives, carbon audits, and environmental pledges. Adding significance to the event, Directors Mr Himanshu Verma and Mrs Ritu Verma, along with Principal Mr Saji Jacob and Vice Principal Mrs Kripajah George, planted saplings with the students and inspired them to become responsible stewards of the environment.

BIS Celebrates World Environment Day with a Special Grade 9 Assembly

On World Environment Day, Grade 9 Atlantic students of Bhavans Bahrain Indian School presented a meaningful assembly. The programme commenced with the school prayer, vision, mission and motto of the school creating a positive and reflective atmosphere for the gathering. The students then presented an engaging skit highlighting various environmental issues such as pollution, deforestation, and climate change. They also donated plant saplings as a symbol of sustainability and environmental responsibility. The programme inspired the school community to embrace eco-friendly practices and work together towards a greener and cleaner future.
