This Teacher Tuesday, we’re Highlighting Miss Kelly, our Year 4 teacher, for the care, encouragement, and inspiration she brings into the classroom every day. ✨

1. How long have you been a part of the Quest School community?
This is my 3rd year at Quest.

2. Where is your home country?
Beautiful South Africa.

3. What subject or class do you teach at Quest School?
I am the Year 4 Green Homeroom teacher.

4. What is a cherished memory you have at Quest School?
I love our assemblies - the preparation, practice and final performances always fill me with pride and a few tears are definitely shed!

5. What makes you passionate about teaching?
Every day is a new opportunity to learn, grow and achieve our goals. I love getting to know my students and forming special bonds with them, watching them grow throughout the year and seeing their confidence and personalities blossom.

6. What’s one of your favourite moments with your students at Quest School?
I have so many fond memories of my time at Quest so far, but if I had to pick, one of them would be last year's International Day where my class learnt and performed the entire South African national anthem! Our Victorian Day is also a fantastic memory, all our Year 4 students really rose to the occasion of dressing up and getting into character.

7. What do you love most about being part of the Quest School family?
The support from one another both professionally and personally. I also enjoy getting to know my students' families, and the small community feel ensures that we can continue to see and catch up with one another.

8. How do your hobbies and interests influence your approach in the classroom?
I enjoy cooking & baking, planning events, dressing up and being creative. Our themed days, assemblies, whole-school events and projects within the classroom allow me to channel my love for creative expression and fun!
