🚧 Ridiculous Moments on the Bulgarian Roads 🚧
A STOP sign placed in the wrong position—and without corresponding priority signs for the other roads—creates confusion instead of safety.
Traffic signs must be correctly positioned and consistent at every junction. Drivers shouldn’t have to guess whether to stop. 🛑

Most road accidents are caused by unsafe decisions and failure to follow traffic rules. Drivers, cyclists, pedestrians—every road user has a role to play.

🚜 Slow-moving vehicle, serious violation!
In Bulgaria, self-propelled machines have a maximum speed of 40 km/h on:
✅ Populated areas
✅ Non-populated areas
✅ Automobile roads / Motor roads
They are prohibited on:
❌ Speed roads / Express roads
❌ Highways / Expressways / Motorways
A self-propelled machine was seen traveling on a Bulgarian highway today—an illegal and dangerous situation for all road users.
Know the road types. Follow the rules. Drive safely!

🚦 Never Follow Blindly Into a Junction
If you are the second car and an articulated bus in front of you is turning left, don’t enter the junction behind it.
Why? 👇
🚌 The bus blocks your view of the oncoming traffic.
🚗 It also blocks the oncoming drivers’ view of you.
⚠️ And remember: oncoming traffic may be moving at the same time as you.
The bus may have enough time and space to turn — you may not.
✅ Stay back.
✅ Wait until the bus clears the junction.
✅ Make sure you can see the oncoming traffic before turning.
A green light lets you enter only when it is safe to do so.
At the First Driving School for Foreigners, we teach you to understand the situation, not just memorize the rules.

When you are turning, and you have a pedestrian, don't forget at junctions you can safely pass behind their back, but NEVER in front of them!

Look at the free space for your car. 👀
Where you place your eyes, your car goes. Don't focus on oncoming traffic. Keep the focus on the free space to pass safely.
