π Certificate Requirements for BSYSB 2025 πβ¨
To receive your official Certificate of Participation at the Black Sea Symposium for Young Scientists in Biomedicine (BSYSB 2025 β 30.10 β 02.11.2025), participants must complete the following:

Attend at least 6 out of 12 lectures
π§ Participate in 1 out of 2 workshops
π§Ύ Join 1 scientific session β either oral or poster
π» The certificate will be provided in an online format and sent to all eligible participants within 2 weeks after the end of BSYSB 2025.
π Fulfilling these requirements ensures you make the most of the scientific program and earn your official BSYSB certificate!

Current trends in robotic colectomies
π¨ββοΈ About the Speaker
Dr. Georgios Geropoulos is a UK general surgery registrar with a subspecialty focus in colorectal surgery and robotic-assisted procedures. He is currently training in robotic surgery at one of the UKβs leading robotic centres.
He completed a PhD in inflammatory bowel disease, exploring regenerative and translational approaches to improve surgical outcomes. Georgios has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and remains active in clinical research and education.

Dr. Styliani Laskou is a General Surgeon at the 3rd Surgical Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, based at AHEPA University Hospital, Thessaloniki, Greece. Her clinical work and academic interests focus on minimally invasive and laparoscopic techniques, particularly in endocrine and adrenal surgery.
