BIG NEWS! 🔥🔥 MFA Composer Henrik Lindström has been named the WINNER of the 2020 Krakow Film Music Festival's "Young Talent Award"! Congratulations Henrik, you make us all proud! Many thanks to Festiwal Muzyki Filmowej w Krakowie for providing this incredible opportunity for aspiring composers.

The Masters students at the Film Scoring Academy of Europe have begun working with Conrad Pope, legendary LA-based orchestrator!

It has begun! 🔥

For the next two weeks, our students will be mentored by the great composer and orchestrator Conrad Pope. Conrad is one of Hollywood's most famous orchestrators, having worked on movies like Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Troy, Isle of Dogs, Life of Pi, and countless others. Conrad has often collaborated with John Williams, James Newton Howard, Alan Silvestri, Danny Elfman, Mark Isham, John Powell, Alexandre Desplat and Howard Shore. Besides his work as an orchestrator, Conrad has also written beautiful scores for movies such as Tim's Vermeer, My Week with Marilyn, and Pavilion of Women. We are absolutely honoured to have our students learning from this master of the film scoring craft and are grateful for Conrad's efforts to deliver his lessons virtually from his studio in LA! 🙏

MFA Student Achievement! 🔥🔥

We are thrilled to announce that MFA composer Hotta Seiji (Japan) has been hired as a Senior Composer by Japanese AAA video game developer Platinum Games Inc! Congratulations, Seiji!

Platinum Games is the company behind world renowned video games such as Nier Automata, Bayonette and Metal Gear Rising. Seiji will be joining the company in September, right after finishing his studies at the Film Scoring Academy of Europe.
