Световният ден на океаните е международен ден, който се отбелязва ежегодно на 8 юни, за да се повиши осведомеността относно значението на океаните и въздействието на човешките дейности върху морските екосистеми. Денят е предложен за първи път през 1992 г. от Международния институт по океанология и оттогава се е превърнал в глобално събитие, в което участват различни държави и организации. Темата на Световния ден на океаните се променя всяка година, като предишни теми включват замърсяване с пластмаса, изменение на климата и риболова.
