ONLINE TEACHING:
Requirements: Experienced teachers ONLY
• Nationality -Canada/UK/USA.
• BA or above
• Teaching experience: Minimum 1 year

The Basics:
A fixed, stable schedule. Booking rate OK
• Class size: 1v1
• 28 minute classes
• Starbo have their own platform
• The students are 4-12 years old
• All materials provided by the school

The Hours:
• 18:00-22:00 GMT +8 (Beijing Time) 4 hours per day.
• Minimum working hours: 3 days per week (MWF or TTS), 2 hours (7:00-9:00pm BJT) per day.
• Classes start at each half hour, so there are a total of 8 time slots each day.
• Trial classes: 28 min/class.
• Regular classes: 28min/class, held three times a week, once every other day (for example, MWF or TTS ).
• With justifiable reasons, a teacher may close or change his/her time slot(s) by giving 14 days written notice.
The Payment:
The payment consists of a base wage and a bonus. The base wage starts from $7 per class. Negotiable at final interview up to $8.50 per class.
STARBO encourages teachers to work with them on a long term basis. To help teachers make progress in their careers they have set up 9 different tiers each corresponding to a different rate of pay. The longer your service , the better the pay.
• $17-18 is the realistic starting basic per hour, depends on experience and interview/demo.
• Trial class signing up bonus is $10 per class.
• Up to $2 extra per class: Performance/attendance related payment
• Contract 12 months. Resignation period 1-month notice
• Holiday leave allowed on a case by case basis. Minimum of 3 days notice required
• Emergency leave judged case by case, no fines if the teacher has proof of the emergency
• Payment by the 10th of every month through Payoneer

The Lead Classroom Teacher plays a key role in the successful delivery of school programmes
and curriculum. An Early Years Educator at Curious Kind is responsible for a classroom of 12
preschool-aged children ranging from 1.5-4 years old. They are in charge of the daily
teaching & learning processes and effectively integrating our core pillars into age
appropriate learning experiences.

This is a permanent full-time teaching opportunity in a lovely setting which focuses on children

Role & Responsibilities:

• Have a minimum 3 years post qualification experience within a childcare setting
• PGCE or Master’s and/or a degree in a related field
