A wonderful evening with the Board of Trustees of Center for Advanced Studies (CAS) Sofia ✨, an academic institution that Switzerland has been supporting for many years in Bulgaria 🇨🇭🤝🇧🇬.

Our ambassador Pierre Hagmann had the pleasure to welcome esteemed members of the Board, including guests from the Universität St.Gallen (HSG), Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin, Centre for Advanced Study Sofia and Програма Достъп до Информация/Access to Information Programme, for a fruitful discussion 🤝.
Switzerland values education 🎓 and puts it as a priority to foster talents among young scientists, support academic excellence, and promote research and science 🔬.

In 2024, Switzerland and Bulgaria advanced further their cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding on Scholarship and Academic Exchange 📄, enabling young Bulgarian scientists to deepen bilateral cooperation between Swiss and Bulgarian universities.

We thank CAS Sofia for their engagement 🙏 and wish them the best of luck in the further implementation process 🌟.
