Our little students have finished learning about VEHICLES

🚙 We learned about all kinds of transportation by air, sea and land.
We now know how to identify a lot of them

⛵ We counted planes in the sky, saw a helicopter, heard motorcycles and checked what floats and what sinks. (the boat is floating)

✈️ We made our own mini models of vehicles at art class

🚦 We learned about the traffic light. We stop at a red light. We can go at green.

🛹 We kept our balance on the skateboard

🛴 We played with lots of vehicles in the classroom and in the backyard

Meaningful learning that is a part of the children's lives will help them remember better what we are learning and make learning a fun thing to do!

Cooking class 🍽️

Once a week, our little students prepare something delicious to eat.
They are full partners in the preparation:
✔️ They pour into a bowl
✔️ Add the ingredients
✔️ Mix everything
✔️And most importantly - taste 😋

Another great, fun way to learn ( about colors, the names of the ingredients, safety at work, enriching vocabulary, waiting patiently and so much more!!!!!!!!)

Our little students are practicing baby yoga every week.

why?

🧘🏼‍♀️ Relax
Yoga helps the child to relax with the help of breathing exercises, relaxation techniques and slow movements.

🧘🏼‍♀️ balance and flexibility
With the help of the yoga exercises, the children improve the flexibility and balance of their body.
This can be very helpful for children who do not move much.

🧘🏼‍♀️ concentration
Yoga is performed slowly and you have to concentrate in order to succeed in doing all the movements. This causes the children to stay focused on their movement in order to succeed.

🧘🏼‍♀️ self-esteem
When the child succeeds in doing a yoga pose or when he manages to hold the pose, he is happy that he succeeded and his self-esteem increases

Yesterday we celebrated HALLOWEEN at Blue Gate Camping Farm halloween party!

Lots of spiders, spider webs and pumpkins decorated our class

We scrubbed pumpkins and found spiders while working on fine motor skills and

We made caramelized pumpkin, pumpkin soup and pumpkin cake

In art class we made a "jack-o'-lantern" and climbing spiders.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN !

Our teacher writes:

So many times I hear children being told not to talk at meal time.

At Kidi-Gan It is allowed to talk when we are eating and the children are more than welcome to make conversation during the meal!

why?

1️⃣ Meal time is a wonderful time to teach the kids that we can not talk while we have food in our mouth.

2️⃣ Because the children have to wait until their mouth is empty or until another friend will finish to talk - they learn to be patient.

3️⃣ While the children eats - its quiet around the table. Therefore, if one of the kids speaks - everyone are listening to him / her.

4️⃣ Meal time is a great time to learn. What color is the banana? Is the watermelon big or small? Is the food hot or cold?

Last week Kidi-Gan's kids and alumni met for a wonderful morning at "Врана"

We walked together, collected leaves, listened to a story, played a matching color nature game and welcomed autumn.

It was fun!
