anish-speaking countries is of long standing: Spanish is spoken by 400 million of people around the world in more than 20 countries. The national psychology of these human communities impresses the Bulgarians considered that youth possesses the biggest motivation.
164 Secondary School with Spanish tuition “Miguel de Cervantes” is created with this purpose: to meet the necessity for learning Spanish and the culture of the Spanish-speaking countries, to co-operate with the desire for friendship and communication. The Spanish Secondary School is one of the schools with intensive learning of foreign language in Bulgaria, whose educational conception completely corresponds to the requirements of bilingual education, along with the obligatory program of studies for acquisition of secondary education.
164 Secondary School “Miguel de Cervantes” is created in 1991, but the traditions in instruction of Spanish laid in 1996 within the boundaries of the metropolitan French Secondary School. Since 1980 a 5-year course of instruction has been implemented.

El interés por la lengua española y las culturas de España y todos los países hispanohablantes, viene de tiempos atrás y es fácil de explicar, dado que se trata del idioma materno de 400 millones de personas oriundas de más de 20 países. La idiosincrasia de estas comunidades es afín a la de los búlgaros, lo que constituye una motivación muy grande para los adolescentes en el estudio de la lengua. El Instituto Bilingüe Miguel de Cervantes se ha fundado con el propósito de satisfacer la necesidad de conocer la lengua y las culturas hispanas, fomentando la amistad y la comunicación entre los pueblos. Este centro docente es una de las escuelas secundarias donde las lenguas extranjeras se imparten según programas intensivos. Su configuración responde por completo a las exigencias de la educación bilingüe, a la par que se observan los requisitos obligatorios para la educación secundaria en Bulgaria. El Instituto se inauguró en 1991, aunque las tradiciones de la enseñanza de la lengua española se remontan al año 1966, cuando esta asignatura se inició en el ámbito de la Escuela Secundaria de Enseñanza en Francés en la capital de Bulgaria. Desde 1991 el Instituto funciona como entidad independiente cuyo curso completo comprende cinco años.

Това общуване е ползотворно, когато е осъществено с добро познаване на езиците. В Република България образованието прилага тази истина, като залага изучаването на чужди езици в средните училища от дълги години.
Интересът към испанския език и културите на Испания и испаноговорящите страни е стародавен: говорят го 400 милиона души по света в повече от 20 страни. Народопсихологията на тези човешки общности импонира на българите, като най-голяма мотивирана полезност има сред юношите.
164 гимназия с преподаване на испански език, “Мигел де Сервантес” е създадена с такава цел: да отговори на многогодишната необходимост от изучаване на испански език и културата на испаноезичните страни, да съдейства на желанието за приятелство и общуване.
Испанската гимназия е едно от училищата с интензивно изучаване на чужд език в България, чиято образователна концепция отговаря напълно на изискванията за двуезичното обучение, заедно със задължителната програма за придобиване на средно образование.
164 гимназия “Мигел де Сервантес” е създадена през 1991, но традициите в преподаването на испански език се основават в 1966г, в рамките на столичната френска гимназия. От 1980г. се провежда редовният
5-годишен курс на обучение.
