The moot will be held between 6th and 8th March 2020 at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry building in Sofia, Bulgaria.

sofia vis pre-moot - International Commercial Arbitration Moot

The 26th Willem C. Vis Moot was officially closed on Thuesday. 378 teams participated. The Moot remains the biggest and the best educational event with competitive element.

We would like to congratulate the PennState University for winnig the Moot!

Special congrats are going to our friends from Zenica who did it to to the semi-finals. We are always proud and happy to see teams from the Balkans moving forward and winning rounds against the titans of the Moot.

Warm thanks are going to Skopje team who made it to the round of 64 and who always has been one of our closest and strongest friends.

University of Heidelberg made it to the round of 32. Congrats and hope to see you again in Sofia!

We were delighted to host the Ruhr Universität Bochum. The team won HonMen for Memorandum for Clamiant. Great job and thank you for coming!

Last but not least, Valeri Blagoev from Sofia University won HonMen for Oralist. This prize is so special to all Bulgarian teams, being the first breakthrough for Bulgaria at the oral phase of the Moot.

Special thanks to all teams that were part of Sofia PreMoot. Another successful and amazing year for our event.

The 5th Sofia PreMoot is over. We are very grateful to all teams, coaches and arbitrators for their participation, passion and effort! We had 10 teams and 42 rounds in only 2 days! We wish safe trip back home to all of you! The results and the photos will follow soon.
