Приключи петдневният безплатен курс по компютърна грамотност за възрастни, организиран от Асоциация STEP. В него те се запознаха с необятните възможности на новите технологии и виртуалния свят. Участниците вече могат да боравят с браузъра, да търсят в Google, както и да се свързват с любимите си хора чрез Viber и Skype.

След завършването на обучението, курсистите придобиха увереност, подобриха комуникационните си умения и станаха по-любопитни за онлайн пространството. Те вече не се страхуват от компютрите, а напротив, имат още по-голямо желание да научат още повече.

For elderly people, learning computers and basic internet skills is not only for accessing information, it is the tool now for keeping in touch with family members
Many of them fear the computer, but basic computer skills are very easy to learn – more so today when everything is designed to be user-friendly and visually accessible.
This is why we decided to create a training named "Digital skills for elderly people".
Today we had the first training and we had 10 people that participated. There were more interested, but we decided to make the training with smaller group, so we can give individual help to each one of them!
We managed to create e-mails, install skype and create facebook profile.
This is just the first day!
