Congratulations to my student Diana on her admittance to the California College of the Arts! She really struggled with the TOEFL exam and unsuccessfully took it a number of times before coming to me with the daunting task of scoring 80. (She had studied for a year, scoring a maximum of 70). Over a period of 2 months with me, she worked really hard and is a proof that, if you have unwavering motivation you can overcome all difficulties. She called me months ago crying, telling me she scored 88!
And now she got in CCA (and waiting to hear from other schools). This is what she wrote: 👩‍🎓 "This is the best teacher I’ve ever had. She motivated me during the whole course. I can’t describe how much she influenced me. It was way more easier to reach my goal with her support. I’ll be grateful to her for the rest of my life!"💜

Students have come to me after one year of making little to no progress. For example, I had a student who had worked with a TOEFL tutor for 7-8 months and still scored only 65 points.

After THREE weeks of working with me, my student finally was able to score 80, which was the necessary minimum for him to apply to US colleges. Congratulations, Maxim!
