✨ Swiss Roll Cake (Sponge Cake Roll) Recipe ✨- Рецепта за пандишпанено руло
Мини урок по английски N12
Поредната ни рецепта, този път от Йоанка, е за класическо “швейцарско” руло. Елегантно и просто, то дава простор на въображението и може да бъде украсено и поднесено по много начини.
A classic, light dessert that brings back sweet memories 💛!
📝 Ingredients for the sponge:
4–5 eggs
1 teacup (200 g) sugar
1 teacup flour
2–3 packets vanilla sugar (or vanilla extract)
👩🍳 Instructions:
Beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
Gradually add the flour, mixing from faster to slower speed.
Add the vanilla.
Pour the mixture into a rectangular baking tray lined with baking paper, lightly greased with oil.
Spread evenly and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F).
It bakes quickly—it's ready when it turns a nice golden color.
🔥 Rolling the sponge:
Remove the baked sponge together with the baking paper.
Place it on a countertop lightly sprayed with water.
Use another sheet of baking paper to flip the sponge over.
Carefully peel off the baking paper.
This step must be done while the sponge is still very warm, so it rolls easily.

Spread quickly with jam or classic rosehip jam “from the old days”. 😊
Alternative filling:
250 g crushed walnuts, lightly soaked with a little milk to soften
125 g butter
½ teacup powdered sugar
Vanilla (optional)

🥗 Do you want to grate some cheese over the salad? - Искаш ли да настържеш сирене върху салатата?
𓊯 Can you set/lay the table? - Ще сложиш ли масата?
Можем да се ‘заобиколим’ с думите и изразите, които са ни нужни, като ги разлепим на местата, където ни се налага да ги използваме. Още полезен език от кухнята на снимката по-долу.
