Na Escola Secundária de Rocha Peixoto o ano letivo 2023/2024 ainda não terminou! No âmbito do projeto Erasmus+ "Chess Under The Sky", 10 alunos e 2 professores do Clube de Xadrez, depois dos sucessos a nível interno no Desporto Escolar, deslocam-se 10 dias à Bulgária (Sófia, Sozopol e Borovets) onde participarão em treinos intensivos e numa competição final de xadrez com atletas de vários países. Levam a mala cheia de vontade de aprender, muitas expectativas, sede de novas abordagens táticas e vontade de mostrar as apreendizagens deste ano. Aconteça o que acontecer a nível competitivo, será decerto uma experiência memorável que os irá acompanhar o resto da vida. Planificação, capacidade de concentração e análise, saber que cada ação tem sempre uma consequência... as aprendizagens do Xadrez são para a vida. Cabecinhas pensadoras!

Based on the implementation of a contract with the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) for the European project C.U.T.S. №101133378 under the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission, for which "Uchenolubie za Bulgaria" is the coordinator, a Kick-off meeting was organized.
For the period from 26.01.2024 to 28.01.2024 inclusive (3 days in total), in Kavadarci, North Macedonia a Kick-off meeting was successfully held for organizing the project work and distributing the tasks among the other partners from Kavadarci, Negotino, North Macedonia and Povoa de Varzim, Portugal.

ANNOUNCEMENT & INVITATION - Chess Under The Sky (C.U.T.S.)

Dear young people - girls and boys between the ages of 11 and 18!
We are pleased to invite you to participate in a selection procedure for recruitment of participants in a target group for chess workshops through innovative practices in outdoor and online teams under a European project under the Erasmus+ programme (Outdoor challenge for European youngsters - Chess Under The Sky - C.U.T.S. project No 101133378 - under contract with the European Executive Agency for Education and Culture).
Our Association Uchenolubie for Bulgaria has the honour to be a Coordinator in a consortium of 3 European countries - Bulgaria, Portugal and North Macedonia.
There will be advantages for young people with fewer opportunities (e.g. health problems and socio-economic difficulties - single parent or low family income). After the selection of the participants to be included in the project, 3 teams will be formed (10 youngsters from each country), which will conduct local chess training sessions, held weekly for 3.5 months in each country (Sofia for the Bulgarian team, Povoa de Varzim for the Portuguese team and Cavadarci for N. Macedonia.)
The C.U.T.S. project promotes the inclusion of young people with different abilities to chess as an intellectual sport and at the same time a fun game. We believe that sport and nature are connected and this relationship can be developed and built upon with innovative models. The partners of the international consortium will implement and share fresh and inspiring methodologies in 3 European countries in the field of chess including the outdoors. The C.U.T.S. project follows a hybrid work plan in which nature on the one hand and modern digital practices on the other are placed side by side, applying sustainable practices.
Through a consistent approach, an appropriate educational style will be used to help you to conceptualize the essence of chess as a sport in nature and of team chess battles online as a social way of communication in the presence of various barriers limiting the access of players.
After the National Youth Chess 3-month activities are over, the most interesting part follows, namely the International Chess Games on the South Black Sea coast for about 1 week, where the 30 participants from the three countries together with their coaches will have the opportunity to get familiar and prepare for the upcoming culmination. It will take the form of an international chess tournament held outdoors in the Vitosha or Rila mountains near Sofia over 3 days. There will be a team and individual winner who will be awarded with medals and prizes.
All costs for the training, travel and stay at the sea and mountain are fully covered by the project and are free of charge for the selected participants from the three countries.

СЪОБЩЕНИЕ И ПОКАНА – „Шах под небето“

Уважаеми младежи - момичета и момчета на възраст между 11 и 18 години!
Имаме удоволствието да Ви поканим да участвате в селекционна процедура за набиране на участници в целева група за обучение по шах-мат чрез иновативни практики в отбори на открито и онлайн по Европейски проект по програма Еразъм+ (Outdoor challenge for European youngsters - Chess Under The Sky - C.U.T.S. project No 101133378 – по договор с Европейска изпълнителна агенция за образование и култура).
Нашето Сдружение Ученолюбие за България има честта да бъде Координатор в консорциум от 3 европейски държави – България, Португалия и Северна Македония.
Предимства ще има за младежи с ограничени възможности (напр. здравословни проблеми и социално-икономически затруднения – с един родител или с ниски семейни доходи). След извършване на подбор на участниците, които да бъдат включени по проекта, ще се сформират 3 отбора (по 10 младежи от всяка държава), които ще провеждат шахматни тренировки на местно ниво, провеждани ежеседмично в продължение на 3,5 месеца във всяка страна (За българския отбор е определен град София, за португалския - Повоа де Варзим и Кавадарци за С. Македония.)
Проектът C.U.T.S. насърчава приобщаването на младежи с различни възможности до шахмата като интелектуален спорт и същевременно забавна игра. Ние вярваме, че спортът и природата са свързани и тази връзка може да се развива и надгражда с иновативни модели. Партньорите от международния консорциум ще приложат и споделят свежи и вдъхновяващи методики в 3 европейски държави в областта на шаха включително на открито. Проектът C.U.T.S. следва хибриден работен план, в който природата, от една страна, и съвременните цифрови практики, от друга, са поставени една до друга, като се прилагат устойчиви практики.
Чрез последователен подход ще се използва подходящ образователен стил, чрез който вие - младежите да осмислите същността на шаха като спорт сред природата и на отборните шахматни битки онлайн като социален начин на общуване при наличието на различни бариери, ограничаващи достъпа на спортистите.
След приключване на Националните младежки шахматни тримесечни занимания, следва най-интересната част, а именно провеждане на Международните шахматни игри на Южното Черноморие в продължение на 1 седмица, на които 30-те участника от трите държави, заедно със своите треньори ще имат възможност да се запознаят и да се подготвят за предстоящата кулминация. Тя ще бъде под формата на международен шахматен турнир, проведен на открито в планината Витоша или Рила, близо до София в рамките на 3 дни. Ще има излъчен отборен и индивидуален победител, които ще бъдат удостоени с медали и награди.
Всички разходи за обученията, пътуванията и престоя на море и планина са изцяло за сметка на проекта и са безплатни за избраните участници от трите държави.
