BULGARIAN FOR FOREIGNERS.

🎯 KEY OBJECTIVES:
~ Learn the basics of Bulgarian grammar, sentence structure, plurals, genders, articles, tenses.
~ Grasp practical vocabulary, useful for different everyday situations.
~ Understand authentic sources of information to get closer to the modern Bulgarian and local Culture.

🗓 PROGRAM:

Introduction to Bulgarian alphabet.
Proper greetings and how to introduce yourself.
Participation in informal conversations.
Numbers, days of week, months and seasons.
Description of people, animals, environment and items.
Reading and filling out Bulgarian papers and lists.
Asking and answering basic questions.
Food journaling and some Bulgarian recipes.
Hobbies and activities.
Accepting and refusing proposals, politely.
Basic financial instructions.
Simple vocabulary of human anatomy.
Booking of hotel, renting car, buying tickets.
Public transportation and carpooling.

Three months
25 two-hour classes and practices at The Apartment Апартамента

👩🏼‍🏫 ABOUT:

Author and organiser of this class is Veronika Ilieva.
She is having a wild spirit & passion for teaching for more than 10years now.
She lives in a multicultural environment: - Italian at home, Moroccan best friend, French grandfather, Bulgarian sisters.
Veronika loves volunteering and helping others and studied Economics and Law, but can also be fun 🙂

The Courses will be held in the informal and friendly atmosphere of ‘The Apartment’.

👩🏻‍🏫 Our first Bulgarian teacher will be Monika Georgieva, an enthusiastic young teacher, who has been in a diferent environments before discovering her passion for teaching Bulgarian and sharing the local culture.
She has a positive and encouraging attitude and loves having fun during the lessons through games and activities.
During her professional path she has taught in multiple of the best ranking English and Bulgarian language schools in the country as well as tutored privately kids, teens and adults of all ages. What drives her is the excitement for meeting different people and personalities and helping them encounter their strengths, best ways of learning and help them fall in love with the Bulgarian culture.
