The First National Dyslexia Center is a Bulgarian NGO, carrying out its activities in the towns of Ruse and Varna. Its main scope of activities focuses on special pedagogy, and, in particular, specific learning difficulties. In this context, various events and participations in international forums and projects take place. A team of specialists (special pedagogue/dyslexia trainer/ speech therapist and psychologists) works with children, youths and adults. The team also provides consultancy to parents, teachers and stakeholders with interest in dyslexia, dyscalculia, learning difficulties and SpLD.
The team partners with sister-organizations from Germany and Austria to supplement its theoretical and practical backgroud.Two members of the team are certified trainers in dyslexia from Erster Österreichischer Dachverband Legasthenie.
