On behalf of the Bulgarian Emergency Surgery and Trauma Society (BESTS) and Medical University – Plovdiv, we invite you to participate in a course on the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). Participation in the course provides the only opportunity in Bulgaria to be trained by certified instructors from ACS.
The program is suitable for students in the "Medicine" specialty (6th year), as well as for lecturers, residents, and doctors with an acquired specialty who wish to acquire knowledge and skills regarding the management, approach, and treatment of trauma patients in the "golden hour."
Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive globally recognized certificates approved by ACS. This course relates to basic clinical work skills valid for all hospitals worldwide.

Course Fee:
Lecturers, residents, and doctors with acquired specialties (with the possibility of obtaining an ATLS instructor certificate) - 600 EUR;
Potential candidates can continue with an instructor course for an additional fee of 150 EUR;
Approved candidates will receive the original edition of the ATLS textbook from ACS, 1 month before the start of each course.
*Due to the limited number of participants, a selection process will be conducted after receiving the applications, and approved candidates will be contacted with additional instructions and information.
** The participation fee is paid after approval for participation.
