Power Plant - Give Back The Keys

Silent and unseen, lead, mercury, and arsenic act as insidious biological thieves. These potent neurotoxins accumulate mercilessly in tissues, binding to enzymes and hijacking the central nervous system to cause irreversible damage to cognition, memory and coordination. Because the body struggles to break them down or eliminate them, microscopic doses compound over time into a devastating toxic burden. They silently dismantle the electrical pathways of the brain, ultimately driving profound neurological decay.

The wave of lawsuits was sparked by a series of independent consumer safety investigations-including testing highlighted by advocacy groups like Lead Safe Mama-which revealed these toxic heavy metal contamination in everyday oral care products.

Hello Kids Toothpaste: A major class action lawsuit (Browne v
Hello Products LLC) filed in federal court highlighted that the
“Hello Kids Dragon Dazzle” flavor contained 428.4 parts per billion (ppb) of lead and 11.8 ppb of mercury. The “Hello Kids Fresh Watermelon” fluoride-free variety tested even higher at 493 ppb of lead and 19 ppb of mercury. These levels vastly exceed federal safety thresholds established for drinking water.

California and New York Filings: Additional class actions, such as Barton v Colgate-Palmolive, allege that Colgate deceptively marketed its “Hello Kids” line as healthy while failing to disclose the presence of neurotoxins. Separate filings target Colgate Total and Tom’s of Maine Silly Strawberry for containing similar heavy metal concentrations.
