Great news📢

Our eLearning course is now available on the Greek National Academy of Digital Skills platform. The platform is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Digital Governance in Greece to provide accessible learning opportunities tailored to personal and professional development needs in the digital age.

You can find the course below. The Academy’s platform is in Greek, but our course is also available in English, Bulgarian, Portuguese, Dutch and Greek.

Leadership in a digitalizing school can be challenging and create more questions than answers at times. The webinar 'Leading transitions for digital education' is a collaboration of the Erasmus+ DigiLEAD project on developing a Digital Transformation Strategy and the Aalborg Universitet on School leadership challenges when implementing digital tools.

Our final conference in Bankya training centre is now in progress🧐 Local participants are introduced to the results of our project: the toolkit and training course on how to develop digital transformation strategy for schools, the eLearning platform on leading with technology and the policy recommendations report with lessons learned, good practices and recommendations.

Earlier today, we've had our final meeting at the beautiful building of the University of Sofia!

Among others, we have discussed the final steps before the project's closure and prepared our sessions for the final conference at Bankya training centre tomorrow. Stay tuned for our news!

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is part of our life, influencing the way we work and learn. The European Commission published a set of ethical guidelines for educators on how to effectively use AI and manage data in school education. The guidelines also discuss emerging competences for the ethical use of AI and data among educators, suggesting ways of raising awareness and engaging with the community.

Just before setting off for a new school year, our partners in Cyprus visited the 3rd Primary School of Makedonitissa this Wednesday to introduce teachers to the DigiLEAD training course.

Around 30 teachers were introduced to the material and exchanged ideas on how the school environment can become more inclusive and their lessons more fun and interactive with the use of technology.

The training course will soon be available on the project's website.

As technology becomes deeply integrated into education, it is crucial to prioritize the well-being of students in the online world. European schools must recognize and address the importance of online well-being as a core component of their digital strategies. To ensure online well-being, schools should consider the following key aspects: Digital Literacy and Resilience, Safe Online Communication, Privacy Protection.
