Can a fabric make or break a custom acoustic panel?
Yes.

👀 This project for DE ROMA features custom acoustic ceiling panels built with a wooden frame, acoustic filling and a textile finish selected to match the space. One key detail is immediately visible: the panel thickness. Another is often invisible: the fabric itself.

For the panel to perform properly, the textile must be breathable enough for sound to pass through to the absorbing core behind it. At the same time, it needs to visually mask the wooden frame and filling, creating a clean finish that fits the interior. That balance between acoustic performance and interior design is what makes textile-wrapped panels so effective across many types of venues.

Acoustic panels do not have to look technical to perform technically.

By combining a timber frame with sound-absorbing filling and a carefully selected breathable textile, they can become a natural part of the room’s interior language.

The result is a solution that supports both acoustic comfort and architectural intent, whether mounted on walls or suspended within the ceiling design.

Can you spot the acoustic panels in these pictures? Comment below which one's your favourite! More info needed? 🔗 in the comments.

Acoustics should not be an afterthought. They can follow the room’s design just as carefully as the lighting, layout, and materials.

With the double PrintFrame by ShowTex and Does It Hertz, acoustic panels are no longer limited to standard shapes or sizes. Each frame is made to measure, adapting to the architecture instead of the other way around. Choose from two frame colours, curved or free-form geometries, and a wide range of fabric finishes. From subtle integration to bold visual impact, the system gives designers more control over both sound and space.

Why should acoustic panels blend into the background? 💡
What if they could actively contribute to your interior design?

With PrintFrame acoustic panels, sound absorption and visual impact go hand in hand. Custom graphics, branding, artwork, colour gradients or subtle textures can be printed directly onto the acoustic fabric, transforming functional surfaces into integrated design features.

The result? Better room acoustics without compromising on aesthetics.

Baffles offer a flexible way to tune sound without compromising design. They control echoes and reverberation while becoming part of the architectural language.

At ShowTex & Does It Hertz, every element can be configured separately to match both the acoustic goals and the visual identity of a space. From shape and dimensions to filling type, thickness, density, frame type, colour, and fabric finish, each baffle is made to measure.

Why limit velvet to curtains? Velours Helena CS, Garnier CS & Paris CS excel as panel and wall coverings, combining sound absorption, elegance, and flexibility. Perfect for spaces where both design and acoustics are crucial, from theatres to creative offices.

Interested in walls that dampen sound reflections, enhance texture, and elevate the room’s atmosphere, all while offering fire safety, washability, and a sustainable edge? Say no more, we've got you! Contact us via https://bit.ly/3P78wzJ

A sports hall is built for movement, energy and intensity. 🏃‍♂️
But without the right acoustics, it quickly turns into a space full of echo and noise.

For the renovation of the sports hall at Campus CERIA in Anderlecht, the focus was clear: improve sound absorption without compromising on durability or safety.

Our team installed SonoMesh ceiling cloths to help reduce reverberation and improve the room acoustic comfort. This jack-of-all-trades combines acoustic performance with impact resistance and fire retardancy, making it perfectly suited for demanding environments like sports facilities.
