I know that 1:1 Coaching support is not in everyone's reach.

On the other hand, coaching is not only a process with various tools to be used, but also a great supportive space in which we are not judged, and we allowed to show up just as we are, with all our imperfections.

It is a space that allows us to reflect, to reconnect with what we want and move forward, making step by step, during our rhythm, and with the resources that we have available.

I personally have been coached on many aspects of my life, from the possibility of becoming a mother, making a career change, getting support during the transition from motherhood to professional life, getting support during burnout or during early motherhood, when I was almost unable to think and care for myself due to the sleep deprivation linked to a newborn.

I was coached in order to reconnect with what I wanted, although I had no idea what it could have been.

I was coached to be reminded of commitments I had made to myseld.

I was coached to understand and find solutions for various obstacles that I was facing (some external, and others internal, withing myself).

That is why I want to make the coaching space available.

So I make myself available and donate my time and coaching skills to support anyone who wants to bring more wellbeing into their personal and professional life.

Every now and then, I donate my time and skills, and offer 1:1 Wellbeing Coaching sessions as a volunteer at Centre Le Chemin, a very warm and welcoming community centre in the heart of Woluwe Saint-Lambert.

This month there are still some sessions available.

🌱 Are you always on the run, stress and fatigue have become "normal" and you wish to reflect on how to move forward in a more sustainable way?

🌱Are you feeling more and more drained or in a perpetual state of "blah"?

🌱Are you transitioning to motherhood or parenthood and this change feels way too overwhelming?

🌱Do you feel that you are sliding into a burnout and you wish to reflect on how to prevent it? Or are you in the process of recovering from a burnout and you need support?

If you recognise yourself in any of the situations above, and you would like to get support through partenering with a coach, however you fear the financial cost, a few accessible sessions are still available over this summer at Centre Le Chemin.

As a coach professional, I will not give any advice, solutions or tell you what to do. But I will ask you a lot of questions, listen and mirror back what you are saying, to enable you to come up with your own solution.

I blend mental and body orientated coaching techniques, curiosity, spontaneity, humbleness and intuition.

Ethics and standards in coaching are very important to me. I am a member of the International Coaching Federation and I am committed to ongoing coach learning.

✔ All the coaching sessions are confidential, and the hours will be collected and tracked, as part of the ACC/PCC ICF International Coaching Certification(ICF). A GDPR release will need to be signed for this purpose.
✔ I am a member of the International Coaching Federation and I adhere to their coaching ethics.
✔ Registration is mandatory and can be done via the website of Centre Le Chemin (activité adultes).
✔ Cancellation can be done provided a 24 hour notice.
✔ Although the process of coaching may seem similar to therapy, it is a different process focusing on present and future, and it is not a substitute for therapy. Coaching is neither receiving expertise, advice or training. If you are the coaching client, you are the expert of your reality.

Every time I have the chance, I visit the forest.

And the instant that I get there, I feel a relief for which I have no words to describe.

It may be the green that surrounds me.
It may be the songs of the birds.
It may be the buzzing of the insects.
Or the majestic trees.
It may be the open space
Or the dance of the branches
The sweet embrace of the ivy climbing on trees
Or the kiss of the moss at the bottom of the truncks
Or the gentle movement of the leaves

In the forest, my hyperactive mind starts to calm down, my brain seems to recharge and my body just strolls, step after step.

And if my 4 year old accompanies me, there might be even some jogging, to catch him up, or true enchantment while picking pebbles and sticks of all sizes.

We live in a world that forces us to live in our head, and our body is often forgoten.

But your head also needs some rest.

And your body also needs to move, faster or slower, in a gentle and mindful way.

And every walk in the forest soothe both mind and body, and can seem like a relaxing active bath.

"You should make this available in French too!", I was told many times by the participants to the sleep workshops that I run.

So I did.

👉🏻 Because sleep is often taken for granted and sacrificed, and in the long run this can affect our overall wellbeing, even triggering co-occuring conditions.

👉🏻Because most of us grew up with beliefs and behaviours around sleep that are not supporting our health, wellbeing, and even productivity (nevertheless we sacrifice sleep in the name of the productivity)

👉🏻And because when sleep falls apart, so many other elements of our health fall apart.

Most of the workshops that I facilitate are in English, however and when the opportunity came to facilitate a workshop in French on sleep during a Wellbeing Day, I said "yes".

"Yes to sleep" said also a group of women who decided to explore their relationship with sleep and ways to make it more sustainable.

During a 2 hour workshop on sleep, this time in French: "Mieux Dormir: Comment améliorer son sommeil", I guided the participants in a playful and stimulating journey towards the ingredients of a good sleep.

The "better sleep" menu included not only sleep science concepts, sleep hygiene and elements for the CBT-i (cognitive and behavioural therapy for chornic insomnia), but also playfulness, games, interaction and collaborative activities.

And believe it or not, a whistle and a dice.

And to further support people in prioritising their sleep, I am organising this session again, this time allowing it more time and a follow-up 1:1 session, and making it accessible to anyone wanting to explore their relationship with sleep.

Together with my colleague from Madame Papillon, Buxton, I am excited and honoured to share Madame Papillon's story about Brussels-based women who have been ´through’ burn-out.

During a Breakout Session on Stress, Burnout & the Female Nervous System, we will explore:
✔️ the stress cycle,
✔️ burnout and its different forms,
✔️ and most importantly, share how burnout affected Madame Papillon members ➡️ the warning signs, the collapse, and the road to recovery 🌱🌱
