The Belgian Physical Society is forwarding an appeal from the All European Academies (ALLEA), the federation representing more than 60 academies of sciences and humanities across Europe, calling for responses to the U.S. administration’s proposed measures that would restrict academic freedom and international research collaboration.
The appeal, available at https://allea.org/portfolio-item/science-knows-no-borders-allea-condemns-proposed-restrictions-by-the-white-house-on-international-research-collaboration/, explains the proposed measures and provides guidance on how to submit a response. Comments may be submitted to the U.S. Federal Government until 13 July 2026.
