What if waste didn't exist?

At ESE 2026, one of the spotlight categories is Circular Economy and Sustainability — redesigning how resources move through our world so that nothing is wasted and everything has a second life.

From biodegradable materials to urban farming, from energy recovery to zero-waste design, young scientists across Europe are already building the solutions our planet needs.

ESE 2026 is hosted by Manto Circular Lab, an organisation dedicated to green innovation and circular thinking. Sustainability is not a theme here — it is the DNA of the event.

Do you have a project, a prototype, or simply a passion for science? ESE 2026 is for you.

The event welcomes three groups:
— Young innovators (12-15), taking their first steps in international exchange
— Advanced student researchers (16-25), presenting projects to peers across Europe
— Educators and mentors, sharing best practices in STEAM education

You don’t need to be an expert. You need to be curious.

Participants join as part of delegations representing schools, science clubs, or national organisations affiliated with MILSET. The official language is English — but 30+ languages will fill the halls.

Something is happening in Mantua this October, and it’s about time we told you. 🇮🇹✨ MILSET Expo-Sciences Europe 2026 (ESE 2026) is an international science exhibition for young people aged 12–25, taking place in Mantua, Italy from 18 to 23 October 2026.

This is a non-competitive event no rankings, no prizes, just science, collaboration, and culture. Students, researchers and educators from across Europe and beyond will gather to present projects, attend workshops, explore a UNESCO World Heritage city, and spend a day in Venice.

The ESE 2026 animated logo says it all: this is where ideas converge, where European youth meet, and where the future of science gets written. Registrations are open. The time to join is now.

🌍 European Science Days for Youth in Slovakia! 🇸🇰

Among participants from five continents, we were delighted to welcome young scientists from AMAVET Klub Slovakia — and it was far from their first participation!

Students explored the fascinating world of fluids, including hands‑on experimentation with Oobleck, a non‑Newtonian fluid that never fails to amaze.

A big thank‑you to AMAVET - Asociácia pre mládež, vedu a techniku and Zš Nižná Brána for their active and enthusiastic involvement in this international initiative. Your commitment to science education continues to inspire.
