Ardennes Offensive Research Group- Battle of the Bulge Dedicated to the non political historical study of the 1944 Ardennes offensive, known as the Battle of the Bulge or Wacht Am Rhein

On December 16th 1944 , the Germans launched their last major offensive on the Western Front . Tougher in some way than the fighting in Normandy, hampered by terrible winter conditions, American , British and German troops fought a desperate battle that has entered military history as one of the great struggles of WW2.
