We want to say a big thank you to all the friends who joined us on our anniversary adventures in MFC ten Dries! 😽
Next Summer the bus leaves on Monday 06/07/2026 until Friday 10th of July 2026, for another week of English, fun and games!

Tom and Lucy run into the field full of stalls and little tents. George calls them over to give them a cat treat and tells them to go to the village hall. When Tom and Lucy walk unto the stage there is a big shout: ‘Surprise!’ All their friends are there to celebrate Tom and Lucy’s ten years of adventures in Bridgend. Tom and Lucy have a lovely afternoon and receive their portrait painted by the lady artist. They watch the sun set and the moon rise with Felix and madam Zelda and then go home to watch the fireworks from Granny Dee’s window. Here’s to ten more years of Tom and Lucy in Bridgend! 🥂Hope you will join us then?

Yesterday we celebrated birthdays all day. We started preparing for our show on Friday afternoon. Lenn brought his birthday crown so we all had icecream with sparklers to wish him a happy birthday.

When Tom and Lucy see the rainbow they are sure it’s a good sign for the celebration. They hear the horn of the bus and run to meet the people arriving for the fun day. The brass band arrives and Tom and Lucy follow the parade to the village green.

Tom and Lucy woke up to the smell of baking from the kitchen; Granny Dee was preparing a cake for her cousin Michael. Tom and Lucy wanted to take Michael a present but got distracted by a big pile of beautiful coloured leaves. Lucy found a colourful leave and they started walking to Michael’s house. At the crossroads Tom and Lucy decided to put their presents in the letterbox and ran up to the farm to invite their friends for the party tomorrow. When they went home Granny Dee told them about the birthday are and how Michael loved their presents and put them on top of his birthday cake!
