Our integration curriculum is unlike what exists in the Belgian integration programs and projects. We actively teach the refugees on how life in Belgium is and why are the Belgians the way they are given their culture, traditions and norms. We and the refugees come from the same cultural background and therefore we have an upper hand teaching the concepts of liberalism, secularism and the importance of gender equality.

Education has to become a tool for preventing the spread of social evils, dogmas and criminal behaviors. As Plato said "ignorance is the root and stem of all evil". Through this tool, good old traditions, cultures and actions can be learned and bad, old, dark, dogmatic and dangerous can be rooted out. Without knowledge humans are vulnerable to evil without them even noticing, they can fall in its trap and destroy everything that gets close to them. With knowledge, humans are healthy, friendly, respectful, loving, caring, patient, progressive and beautiful.

Robert Suarez the founder of Central Community Antwerpen gave a presentation on how Cubans had to take on the dangerous sea journey in the pursuit of a better life in America. Robert’s conclusion was that when we move to another culture, it’s naturally difficult and can cause lots of frustrations but with positive attitude and hardwork, integration becomes easier. With positive thinking, we can grow and become part of our new society. The participants(Mainly refugees from Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq) learned that immigration is not easy doesn’t matter where it happens. Being realistic, understanding the challanges, learning from them and eventually becoming part of the new culture should be the ultimate goal.

Dit opleiding ging over Digitaal Revolutie, Sociale Media, Impact op politiek, economie en de maatschappij, Digitaal overheid en de globalisatie.

This training coverd topics such as Social Media, Digital Revolution, impact of social media on politics, economy and the society. They have also learned concepts such as digital governance and globalization.

این آموزش شامل موضوعاتی مانند رسانه های اجتماعی، انقلاب دیجیتالی، تاثیر رسانه های اجتماعی بر سیاست، اقتصاد و جامعه بود. آنها همچنین مفاهیمی مانند حکومتداری دیجیتالی و جهانی شدن را آموختند.

Het is onmogelijk om de allochtonen in de Belgische samenleving te integreren zonder de hulp van diegenen die er al geïntegreerd zijn. Ik voel me thuis in dit land en het is zeker een mooi gevoel. Eidereen kunt dit gevoel hebben en het is alleen mogelijk door de juiste integratie projecten.
