The Billie Holiday Vocal Studio . A NEW course/masterclass/vocal-workshop in which we explore the own works & songs that are familiar with 'Lady Day' .

During her life , Billie's last husband ( Louis McKay ) , wanted to start a (jazz-singing)school in New York City by the end of the 1950ties/early 1960ties ... with Billie as (vocal) teacher .
But Billie died on July 17th , 1959 and this project NEVER saw the light .
In 'loving memory of Lady Day' , I call this new educational project 'The Billie Holiday Vocal Jazz Studio' ( the name they had chosen back at the time for their school ) .

' THE BILLIE HOLIDAY VOCAL STUDIO ' is my NEW 'special course/workshop/masterclass' from 2025 .

During her life , Billie's last husband wanted to set up a vocal studio/school at the end of the 1950ties in New York City ... with Billie as vocal teacher .
But Billie died on July 17th , 1959 and this project never saw the light .

To honor Billie / Lady Day , I dedicate my special course/masterclass /vocal workshop to her . In 'loving memory' of Billie and the songs that she wrote herself AND that were familiar with her .
